There is something deeply disturbing about people who are fans of Face Book. I cannot quite figure it out. It is one thing to have an account if you are a businessman or need it professionally. Or if you are famous. But "friends"? And family?

Sheesh. Pick up the phone. Write a letter. Go visit. Just stop being the creepiest thing since Tiny Tim. You face bookers are sorry excuses for human beings. Your "social" media does not make you better people.

I think the more one depends on "social" media for participating in "society" the more mentally unstable they are.

Get some mental health counseling. Or better yet find Jesus. Do something to help yourselves because you are deeply disturbed people.

Occupy Wall Street Protestors

In my princessdom there are no filthy complainers defecating in the streets or on the horses which guard my realm. The poor animals would kick them in the head if they did anyway.

But such is the sad case in America (Breitbart). Its wild savages are defiling the countryside.

Sadly Congressman Ron Paul, in the last presidential debate, used some poorly chosen comments to sympathize with the protesters. They deserve no sympathy, but being tenderhearted in nature, the Congressman sometimes has misplaced compassion.

These people deserve no such compassion. Millions of young people feel the same way. Millions of middle-aged people do too. And millions upon millions of elderly people feel betrayed as well. And most people believe the US government is the source of this problem.

Wall street and the banks didn't do anything that congress did not allow. Democrats in particular are in bed with the bankers and Wall Street. Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac are the tip of the ice-berg. General Electric and General Motors too. This economic fascism by the Obama administration is no pretty picture.

The silent majority which is losing its pensions and retirements, and the young people who cannot find jobs and are not defecating in the streets suffer no less. They have dignity and decency and will not act like these parasites.

The president and the leadership of the Democratic party upholds the degenerates in the OWS movement. And as they do they betray those who are suffering but choose not to behave worse than pigs or monkeys.

A Treasured Moment

October 12, 2011 A.D.

In these chaotic and fearful times I search for signs of happier days. Tonight, coming home from my short journey across town, I stopped for the railroad signal gates flashing their red warning lights. As I had slowly approached the gates, I turned off my radio, ventilation system, and rolled down the windows.

I heard the big diesel engine blast its loud horn. It was startling! And it was a sound I had heard from a distance throughout my life having lived in the industrial north. It brought chills to my skin as I remembered better days long ago.

Happier days.

I couldn't resist so I turned my car off and felt the gentle rumble of the long train as it passed by.

It was a beautiful moment on an October night. The happiness I felt roared away in the dark with the rumble of the rails.

P.J. O'Rourke Doesn't Know the Constitution

P.J. O'Rourke tries to take down Congressman Ron Paul for not knowing the Constitution (Salon).

But it is PJ pajama man who doesn't know it. PJ says that the bill to fund health care for the merchant marines (coming out of the 5th congress) is proof that health care is a lawful power of the federal government.

This is simply ridiculous. The merchant marines were around during the War of Independence before the navy or the coast guard were formed (Wikipedia). They provided military service before the US government or the Constitution was established and they reaped the just rewards which would one day be covered by the Constitution itself as a legitimate power of the Federal government by the enumerated power of the congress to raise an army and navy.

There is NO enumerated power to fund health care for people not serving in military roles. The funding power derives from the enumerated power to raise armies as covered in Article One Section Eight of the Constitution. And all veterans are already covered. So there are no other people left to cover since only SOME people are veterans.

If O'Rourke would like all Americans to sign up to capture pirates and serve in military roles on the high seas (including babies, toddlers, and old women) then he can claim to be following the lead of the Founders.

Rick Unger at Forbes points out that money was docked from the pay of the marines. In the commie fantasy O'Rourke envisions everyone gets government health care even before they ever earn a paycheck or serve in the military. Or maybe we should all be destined to be Spartans and just presume everyone will be in the military?

The previous article by Unger, which outlines how this first "health care" legislative act snow-balled into more and more health care programs which went beyond veterans' health care proves the theory of the slippery slope should be removed from the list of logical fallacies, because slopes are always slippery and should always be anticipated. And the merchant marine health care act has been very slippery. Unger says so in more ways than one. But instead of condemning the unlawful expansion of the original act Unger appears to cheer it on.

And if PJ is correct then why didn't the founders have free medical care too? And why not their wives? Or their children? And so forth? Hmmm????? Gee, it is mighty suspicious that we don't find such a thing for the public in general until the 20th century.

If the government wants to follow the lead of the early congress then they can take care of military vets who serve this country now and need medical care.

Oh wait. They already do that. It has been done since the government took care of the merchant marines who engaged in warfare on behalf of the new states of America.

O'Rourke is a nitwit who successfully earned a lot of money for it. Frankly, I thought the guy fell off the planet long ago. He must be an old buzzard by now and his lack of reasoning suggests he might be flying into windows more often these days.

What is Wrong With Retards?

President Obama arrogantly announces that if you don't like the amount of money you have to pay for gasoline, you can trade in your car and buy a hybrid. (Hot Air)

And the rest of us peons who bought the best fuel efficient cars we could afford several years ago and still cannot afford gas prices?

I suppose we should just go to hell?

President Obama Disses Academic Testing

I'm surprised that the president did not tell a recent Hispanic audience that any white person testing their child did so because they were the enemy of Hispanics. Yahoo news has this story about the President criticizing testing students. (Hat tip Drudge)

According to the article, Obama says testing makes learning boring. And he would like to measure achievement by things like school "attendance". Perhaps this means you get A's if you show up all the time.

But Democrats are in a pickle.

They can continue to destroy the education system with fads like New New Math, Whole Language, and other such scams and get criticized, or they can cover it all up by eliminating the testing which shows what a failure they are. Whatever they do, it will be obvious and show how evil and stupid they are.

Democrats have whined and sniveled a good deal about testing since scores have taken a dive over the years (especially after the 1965 immigration act, by-the-way). But they cannot (yet) escape the international testing which shows that especially blacks and Hispanics do poorly on them. And if you take their test scores out leaving in white and Asian scores, US kids compare very well with the countries that do better in international tests like the IAEP.

This probably embarrasses the president. Maybe it enrages him.

So what does the president suggest we do about this?

He suggests hiding the truth. Offer less clarity. Provide less transparency about academic achievement. Give excuses about boring tests. Avoid the problem by pretending it isn't there.

Openness in these matters conflicts with his political ideology in which he believes everyone should be equally rewarded despite their merits. And if blacks and Hispanics cannot keep up academically how will they reap good rewards he believes they should have?

I wonder if our nitwit in chief suggested trade schooling for young people who are not college bound? Doesn't he know how much an electrician or plumber earns per hour? Why didn't he promote trade schools for kids who are not college material?

Obama says "[a]ll you're learning about is how to fill out a little bubble on an exam and little tricks that you need to do in order to take a test and that's not going to make education interesting."

"All" you are "learning"? Is he nuts? Who believes that is all anyone is learning? Stupid snots from Harvard?

Many kids are learning much more. Maybe he should speak for himself and blacks. Maybe that is all they are learning. And by his conduct it appears to be true. He really does appear to be the big Bubble-Filler-In-Chief who learned nothing and got a Harvard degree for it. But it seems a little arrogant for him to assume that is all other people learned. Or that that is all Hispanics are capable of learning. The Bubble-Filler-In-Chief needs to speak for himself. It is also a tad arrogant for him to believe that that it is all that whites or Asians are learning. If what the nitwit says were true how are we creating doctors, engineers, and scientists if all they are learning is bubble filling?

The Bubble-Filler-In-Chief is not to be believed.

Maybe he dislikes tests because he is stupid. But many, like me, who have struggled with learning, take the opposite view. We demand greater excellence in education because we recognize our own academic failings and we demand a higher standard for the future.

It has come down to this. You do not love your children enough if you keep them in a US public school where Marxist bubble-filler imbeciles like Obama wish to propagandize them instead of educate them. Don't get mad at me for saying so. Get mad at yourself for having children you must foist on others to educate. The least you could do is pay to send them to a private school if you do not wish to educate them yourself.

Stop being lazy and greedy. Take care of your OWN children.

If education doesn't really matter (and it's just bubble-filling and tricks) as Obama suggests, why worry about schooling in the first place? Fire them moronic union teachers abolish the schools, keep kids at home and give them a diploma. This is exactly where the stupid thinking of the Harvard grad leads.

Grow up and get your kids out of our Soviet style propaganda schools and give them a real education.

And the federal government has no authority whatsoever to have a Department of Education or any say so in academics. The schools belong to the states, locales, and the people. They don't belong to privileged Ivy league dirt-bags like Obama and the Democrats who use them as tools of social change, subversion, corruption, and sedition.

Abolish compulsory education in America. It is a communist scheme not worthy of a free people. Which is one reason why Obama supports it.

Choose liberty. Abandon the US public school system.
